The start of Uni Life

Hi all~ keen to know abt my first few days of uni life? haha here goes~well ppl normally wld start off by saying how fun n tiring orientation was..blah blah.well i wld have to skip tt cos as i've previously mentioned, there wasnt any orientation for me since we din sign up n there were no vacancies le etc etc. forget tt. so sch officially started 3 days ago. haha.to start sch with 4 lectures from 10-12, 12-2, 2-4, 4-6 is bad rite! haha but though they say 2h lect, they normally end earlier fr 15-30 mins earlier for us to travel to our next lesson.. but well after approx 8 mths of rotting, definitely sitting in n absorbing everything e lecturer has said was almost close to impossible. haha n guess wat?! our 1st topic and 2nd topic: Inorganic chem n modern chem was filled with sth so familiar - quantum.in n out i hear e words stationary states, absorption n emission spectrum, photons blah blah wah lao this can kill lor for i jus detest quantum.. sian. n u know those notes r sooo brief esp e inorganic chem.. definitely a stark contrast to mrs neo's or mdm neo's notes.. hmmm. e 1st lect was such a bore. he talks so slow, so brief. chao sian lorr. luckily for calculus e lect was ok, at least sth familiar, fns. actually do u know why everything just seem so sian ma? cos travelling to n fro is really such a chore. now i envy those ppl in hostel. so much. haha. apart fr travelling, maybe is cos i cldnt really absorb n understand whatever e lect is saying for those chem lects.. its really sian la. n those bidding systems. being a yr 1 we just have to suffer, cant take those modules that we like or take those favourable timing modules, cos we dun have enuf pts to bid w those seniors of ours who have thousands of pts in their acct liao. ya lor. n tues was spent in qian's hostel bidding here n there squeezing out my brain juices to decide on a module i want to take cos i just have to drop the unbearable-basic-of-maths module. it sucks. haha so ended up taking a module called sth like "einstein quantum universe weirdness etc etc" haha quantum again. but i've not much of a choice though. but this time we learn abt issac newton, galileo galilee etc etc. lol. haha then again, it wasnt as bad as i tot when i went for e lect today. at least e lecturer's more fun n interesting. and guess wat? next fri, we have a star gazing session. sounds cool? haha.yep, looking forward to it.currently still balloting for my tutorials.. e last stage le.. then by e time i will have my timetable done n most prob i shld b settling down soon liao.. hope can adapt faster n absorb faster n hope everything goes smoothly ya? it has really been a bz bz bz week. haha.now still considering wat cca to take. for once, i feel like joining a cca. haha. any suggestions? ;)
